Dr Alex Everitt MBBS PhD FRCP(UK)
I was appointed consultant neurologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London in 2003.
I undertake 4 neurology clinics (epilepsy and general neurology) every week, in addition to running a monthly joint HIV neurology clinic.
I cover in-hours acute neurological emergencies at St Mary's Hospital one day per week, and out-of-hours neurological emergencies on 2 separate weeks per year.
As well as specialising in epilepsy and HIV neurology, I diagnose and treat patients with the whole spectrum of neurological problems including headache, dizziness, blackouts, sensory symptoms, weakness, abnormal movements, unsteadiness, memory loss, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, and muscle disease
I see private patients at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor every Wednesday afternoon, and at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, St Johns Wood, London, NW8 every Tuesday evening (5-7 pm).
